SOB Broth

SOB Broth is recommended for use in cultivation of recombinant strains of E. coli. It is a nutritionally rich growth medium for use in the preparation and transformation of competent cells. Add 28 g of Broth in 1 L of distilled water. Heat gently to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes. Store at room temperature.
