Description: EcoR I is a Restriction Endonuclease purified from an Escherichia colistrain that carries the EcoR I gene from Escherichia coli RY 13. EcoR I activity is blocked by some combinations of overlapping CpG methylation. NZYTech providesEcoR I with a specific buffer, termed NZYBuffer A. NZYTech’s EcoR I is an enzyme that acts at 37 °C. For double digestions please use NZYBuffer U (not provided, MB1100).

Concentration: 10000 units/ml.

Reagents supplied with the enzyme: 10× NZYBuffer A.

Storage buffer: 25 mM NaHepes, pH 7.5, 500 mM NaCl, 150 mM Imidazol, 2.5 mM CaCl₂, 50% (v/v) glycerol.
