Description: EcoR V is a Restriction Endonuclease purified from an Escherichia colistrain that carries the EcoR V gene from Escherichia coli. EcoR V activity is not affected by CG methylase. NZYTech provides EcoR V with a specific buffer, NZYBuffer A. NZYTech’s EcoR V is an enzyme that acts at 37 °C. For double digestions please use NZYBuffer U (not provided, MB110).

 

Concentration: 20000 U/mL.

 

Reagents supplied with the enzyme: 10× NZYBuffer A (500 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 1 M NaCl, 100 mM MgCl₂, 10 mM DTT).

 

Storage buffer: 10 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 50 mM NaCl, 0.1 mM EDTA, 1 mM DTT, 200 µg/mL (w/v) BSA, 50% (v/v) glycerol.
