Description: Hpa I is a Restriction Endonuclease purified from an Escherichia coli strain that carries the Hpa I gene from Haemophilus parainfluenzae. Hpa I activity is blocked by some combinations of overlapping CpG methylation. NZYTech provides Hpa I with both a specific buffer, NZYBuffer B. NZYTech’s Hpa I is an enzyme that acts at 37 °C. For double digestions please use NZYBuffer U (not provided, MB1100).

Concentration: 10000 units/ml.

Reagents supplied with the enzyme: 10× NZYBuffer B.

Storage buffer: 25 mM NaHepes, pH 7.5, 500 mM NaCl, 150 mM imidazol, 2.5 mM CaCl₂, 50% (v/v) glycerol.
