Description: Nco I is a Restriction Endonuclease purified from an Escherichia coli strain that carries the Nco I gene from Nocardia corallina. Nco I activity is not affected by dam methylation, dcm methylation and CpG methylation. NZYTech provides Nco I with a specific buffer, NZYBuffer B. NZYTech’s Nco I is an enzyme that acts at 37 °C. For double digestions please use NZYBuffer U (not provided, MB1100).

Concentration: 10000 units/ml.

Reagents supplied with the enzyme: 10× NZYBuffer B, 0.1% BSA

Storage buffer: 25 mM NaHepes, pH 7.5, 500 mM NaCl, 150 mM imidazol, 2.5 mM CaCl₂, 50% (v/v) glycerol.
