Description: NZYLong DNA polymerase is an optimized blend of NZYTaq DNA polymerase and NZYProof DNA polymerase designed to amplify target DNA sequences up to more than 15 kb in size. The proofreading activity of NZYProof DNA polymerase, enables NZYLong DNA polymerase to display higher fidelity than Taq DNA Polymerase alone. Resulting polymerase chain reaction (PCR) products have an A overhang and are suitable for cloning with NZYTech´s TA PCR cloning kits (MB053 or MB137).
Storage temperature: NZYLong DNA polymerase should be stored at -20 °C, in a constant temperature freezer. NZYLong DNA polymerase will remain stable up to 3 years if stored as specified.
Enzyme concentration: 5 U/μL
Reaction Buffer (10×): 200 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.8, 100 mM (NH4)2SO4, 100 mM KCl, 20 mM MgSO4, 1 mg/mL of nuclease-free BSA, 1% (v/v) Triton X-100. Vortex the Reaction Buffer solution thoroughly after thawing and prior to use. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles will affect the stability of the buffer (the buffer will remain stable at 4 °C for at least of one month).
