Description: Pst I is a Restriction Endonuclease purified from an Escherichia coli strain that carries the Pst I gene from Providencia stuartii. Pst I activity is not affected by dam methylation, dcm methylation and CpG methylation. NZYTech provides Pst I with a specific buffer, NZYBuffer A. NZYTech’s Pst I is an enzyme that acts at 37 °C. For double digestions please use NZYBuffer U (not provided, MB1100).

Concentration: 10000 units/ml.

Reagents supplied with the enzyme: 10× NZYBuffer A.

Storage buffer: 25 mM NaHepes, pH 7.5, 500 mM NaCl, 150 mM imidazol, 2.5 mM CaCl₂, 50% (v/v) glycerol.
