Aminooxy CF™488A (aka CF488A hydroxylamine or CF488A aminooxyacetamide)  is a green fluorescent dye with an aminooxy reactive group, which can be used to label a target molecule with an aldehyde or ketone group. Aminooxy group readily reacts with an aldehyde or ketone group to form a stable linkage without the use of a reducing agent. CF™488A is a superior alternative to the traditional green fluorescent dye FITC (or fluorescein) owing to its exceptional brightness and photostability.
